The Monta Ellis trade rumors continue to swirl. Reports are now that Ellis is pushing to be traded to the Bulls or the Nuggets, but Denver appears to have little interest. Chicago, who could use a scoring guard alongside D.Rose, may not have the pieces (or may not be willing to part with the pieces) needed to make a deal work.

I’m told Chicago very much is at the top of that theoretical Ellis list, though it’s obvious that the Warriors are not limiting their discussions to just one or two teams. It’s also difficult to find a workable combination of Bulls players that would fit an Ellis deal, unless Chicago is willing to move Luol Deng, which seems, at this point, unlikely. ... Denver is not looking to sign-and-trade Nene and two NBA sources say that the Nuggets, who already have an abundance of small guards, are not interested in Ellis.
