The Chicago Bulls have officially decided not to match the three-year, $25.1 million offer sheet for Omer Asik.
The writing was on the wall after the Bulls decided to sign free agent big man Nazr Mohammed to a one-year deal. General Manager Gar Forman has instituted a plan to get the Bulls salary cap space during the summer of 2014. The Houston Rockets continue to dramatically reshape their roster after adding Jeremy Lin & Omer Asik, but losing Kyle Lowry, Luis Scola and Goran Dragic.
